چکیده

Due to their easy and low-cost production enhanced properties, noble metal nanoparticles are preferred as nano-additives in most pharmaceutical compositions. For example, silver (AgNPs) gold (AuNPs) possess antiseptic antimicrobial activity they generally for obtaining antibacterial clothing coatings. In the present study, we report a simple, low cost green method synthesizing AgNPs using aqueous extracts of common poppy (Papaver rhoeas L). Synthesised were characterised based on Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy equipped with energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy, diffraction analysis. The synthesised also tested agar well diffusion method. Characterisation methods showed that obtained spherical shape, particle size ranging from 15 40 nm. According test results, effectively inhibited growth various gram-positive gram-negative bacteria. It was concluded Papaver L. extract is effective reducing agent preparation stable monodispersed could be useful applications human veterinary medicine.

Green synthesis of multifunctional silver nanoparticles using quercetin and their therapeutic potential

Objective(s): Active species used in bio-chemical for synthesizing nanoparticles is poly phenolic compounds. The ability of flavonoids (e.g. quercetin) to dissolve in water is low and the production of metallic nanoparticles from them in the aqueous medium is hard. Previous studies recommend that quercetin was not capable of reducing Ag+ to Ag0. The current research aimed at synthesizing querce...
